Hello everyone, this week I bring you an other episode about my trip to New York, speaking about the Central Park Zoo.
The Zoo is situated in Central Park, New York City. Its area is 6.5 acre (0.062 km²). It is not very big but the opportunity to have a zoo in the center of NY is amazing. The zoo was opened in 1864 as a menagerie until 1934 when it was officially opened as a zoo. In 1988 was renovated, changing the cages.
The zoo is beautiful and it was very fun going around, looking at the animals, taking picture of them like they were in the wild life knowing I was in Central Park in the middle of a city with millions of people.
Many people might remember this zoo for the many films that took place here, like: the Madagascar film series; Mr. Popper’s Penguins; Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
